Attorney Marc Applbaum is a partner of Applbaum & Zouvas. Mr. Applbaum began his legal career at Zampi & Associates, a mid-size civil litigation firm in San Diego, California. Mr. Applbaum successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of cases, including matters involving age, race, and sexual discrimination, public and private sector employment disputes, unlawful detainer proceedings, real estate, partnership disputes, personal injury, wrongful termination and constructive discharge, copyright infringement, breach of contract, invasion of privacy, construction defect, and family law.
Mr. Applbaum went on to work for the San Diego City Attorney where worked as a prosecutor. He conducted fourteen jury trials and dozens of bench trials with a 93% conviction rate . Mr. Applbaum's experience allowed him to learn the legal system from both sides. He knows both the prosecutors and the judges ... and uses that experience to build a winning defense for any criminal cases at Applbaum & Zouvas, including white collar crimes.
Since joining Luke C. Zouvas in January of 2006, Mr. Applbaum has become adept at handling a wide variety of corporate and securities matters. Mr. Applbaum has dealt with key issues in securities law impacting individual investors, companies, dealers, and traders. He represents companies and individuals throughout the United States in cases relating to securities regulation, investor relations, dealer-broker / customer disputes, securities fraud and enforcement.
